Dreamings: Dinny began painting for a more than ten years ago, around 2003 and has been highly influenced by his strong traditional painting lineage. Dinny has inherited stories from his Grandfather and Mother and Farther’s country which lies to the far west of Wilkinkarra (Lake MacKay) W.A. He paints traditional Tingari designs which depict both ceremonial sites and the topography of his country. He often talks of the clay pans full of water after rains, rock holes and sand hills.
