Comments: This painting relates to stories associated with the sacred Tingari Cycle. The artist described the main iconography of concentric circles as ceremonial sites and water holes. The small dots represent the seeds that are eaten by the Blue Tongue Lizard which is another of the artists’ main totems. Much of the information regarding these stories are of a secret nature which is only to be shared with initiated people, therefore no more information was given.
